Junkman's Water Restricted Washing Regime

In this video, I provide a method for washing a car without the assistance of a water hose. This washing regime consist of two buckets, one with soap and one with water and three wash mitts. One mitt for the top half of the car, one mitt for the bottom half of the car and one mitt to rinse with. I explain how the process is done, along with the products that you will need.

One thing that I didn't address was the wheels. They can be washed last, using another washing medium like a 4th mitt from Auto Zone. This washing regime is perfect for those of you who live in areas where washing with a hose is not allowed or not available. It also work great at a car show if you have to drive a long distance.

Have at it boys and girls!

The Junkman

I have switched to the single bucket rinseless method after watching Garry Dean's video. Requires a little more investment in wash media (mitts or towels ) but guarantees nothing re-enters the wash media. One less bucket to haul around and no need for a grit guard . win/win.

It's called preference. Gary does it his way because he's in business to make money. I do it my way because I want to keep my paint flawless, as you saw in this video. Also, Gary and I know each other very well. We understand each others mindset.

I also have known Garry ( with two r's ) for years. He uses this simply because it works.

Yea, C5 has some serious haters over there now but as you saw, I shut them down. I will probably not be posting anything else over there. Too many haters that interfere with the folks who are trying to learn something.

Not haters Junkman. Just presenting a different point of view. This is a discussion forum . Plenty of ways to get from point A to point B.

But no one said that everyone had to do it the way I showed. I just offered a method. Where did I shoot down anyone elses method? I never did, just gave an example of what can be done. Some of the people chiming in didn't have their facts straight and I had to enlighten them.

I freely offer this information for those who have no idea where to start. A LOT of people appreciate that and tell me that they could do without all the negative banter. I look at it as a necessary evil that you have to deal with. After all, I could turn my You Tube channel into a Pay-Per-View channel and eliminate all the negativity. I haven't done that because there are a lot of people out there who appreciate what I do and the fact that I share it for free.
