Just wondering if this is a concern or will fry the t tap connector.
I have t tap connector on the low beam harness. My low beams are HID. I wonder if the hid startup will damage the t tap connector somehow.

I doubt it would get hot enough to melt the plastic. If it did, you'd rather it melt the T-Tap vs. the entire cable/harness. You could always just put them on and off several times and then physically feel for any heat. The electrical tape will work just fine and act as sort of an insulator as well.

I'm just nit picky with wiring and heat shrink. It does the same thing, just cleaner. But if you won't see it anyways don't even worry about it.

Cool. I saw a lot of horror on t tap connector failing leaving the whole harness corroded...
Hope that own't happen to me.

This is how I feel about them as well. For a quick easy solution I would use butt connectors with some heatshrink over it since its outside. Much more reliable in my experience.

Or better yet solder the wires and cover in heatshrink.

So a buddy of mine mentioned something about a flat engine meetup next weekend at Velocity 5. Has anyone else heard about this and has some info about it?

This weather right now... It was so crazy. I could barely see 5 feet in front of me in some locations.

Heavy fog this evening, I was on 32 to 29 back to west laurel. Some spots I couldn't see 100 feet out.
