It is too quiet for my liking...I can hear the CAI over the stock exhaust system with revwork's UEL.

Was planning on just adding a FP/OP to the stock CBE and headers, but the resulting sound is crap IMO. from the ones I've heard at least xD

Well, is spending all that money on a little more sound from stock CBE worth it?
I guess having a CAI pretty much answered that question.

I feel Corsa doesn't get enough love, especially among the import crowd. Yes, their catback is actually a bit heavier than the stock catback. But the weight comes from all the extra baffling they put in the muffler, which eliminates drone. The Corsa muffler is also similar to size/shape as the OEM, which is supposed to actually work in conjunction with the rear diffuser to direct airflow.

The tips are gorgeous too.

Oh the "kinda annoying" was strictly referring to perrin's non-resonated one, I heard someone's that was coupled with a borla UEL and it wasn't too my liking. thats all.

I've never heard a non-resonated exhaust on an N/A 4-cylinder that didn't sound like ass.

I think this setup sounds beautiful. Rev Works UEL header, Perrin overpipe, Perrin 2.5" catted front pipe, Perrin 2.5" Resonated Exhaust.

Diff exhausts to match peeps taste for sure. I have this exhaust, (Lachute) same as in video and I personally really like it. No drone or rasp and such.

What other mods ? I'd pick one from them, only an hour away !

That is their video and car, aside from their catback system it is all stock. Its a perfect fit, very well welded and well built and lifetime warranty as well. They have years of experience with exhaust systems for subaru motors, one of the reasons I chose this system and no regrets to be honest.

I think what I'm going to go with after listening to countless video clips and digging through threads is a UEL catted header and a resonated catback. Keeping stock OP/FP. I want no drone or rasp. Goodbye torque dip, too.

Here's an example... can clearly hear the "rumble" but it's not obnoxious:

Says Borla UEL in the video... I don't think they make a catted one?

I might consider going to a Q300 later on, the Perrin RESONATED 2.5 is already loud enough for me. Cops like following me already...

Yeah, you're right... should have reworded my post. I personally will go with a catted UEL for a slightly more tame sound and hopefully less issues with the law and environment.

Just posted the video as an example I stumbled across... tame at idle, but with a nice, smooth growl with revs.
