I don't know how folks drive their car and enjoy it for extended drives with such exhaust? Man I'm getting old I guess.... :-/

it's the catback. the oem one is designed for an oem header, overpipe etc... and will sound crappy with aftermarket stuff

OP mentioned "putting the stock catback on"

According to reddit (where I first saw this video), OP had a 3" Perrin resonated CBE, which made this video sound tame.

Did it sound better with the Perrin CBE, at least?

Reminded me of this... lol. It was left on my car last year by a neighbor... some pissed off girl that didn't like waking up early, and my car isn't even that loud.

Haha. I never actually figured out who it was. I knew the girls that lived next door to them, but wasn't able to narrow it down to which of the other unit left the note. I never actually met or spoke to those girls ever. I made sure to park in front of their unit every day after the note... But it was short lived since I moved about 3 months later

Which sounds better on a 4cyl car? Magnaflow or Flowmaster? I know I'm going to have to weld in a massive 1 if I upgrade anymore upstream from my catback. Ideas?

The more I hear these type of a setups the more I realize I may need to swap out my high flow nameless 1 piece op DP for the OEM catted pipping once my header arrives. Thanks for sharing.

You got to have a catted header to tame the sound. The cat on the front pipe is as useless as two right hands.

I was wondering how that setup would sound, I have the ARK DTS and I love the sound but I think a header would make it to loud. I was thinking this setup (UEL header, stock overpipe, stock front pipe, ARK catback) would be liveable.
