God. I wouldnt even go past 3k RPMs without knowing who the hell tuned that thing.

I figured we wouldnt see this issue on the forums for at least another 3 or 4 years. But alas.

Bigger injectors? Fuel pump? What octane was it tuned on? You havent a clue. I'd be scared in such a high compression engine. Need to find someone to look through it for you.

I'm feeling better and better about it every day, haha. I need to find some shops closer. Everyone I've talked to about checking it out is like 6 hours away.

You need at a minimum:

1) Someone to log some pulls/check out the tune on this thing

2) Address the almost certain cooling issues you will have once the weather gets warmer

3) Get some gauges/tools to monitor a/f ratio, oil pressure, etc....

This is exactly why I don't buy pre-modded cars...

As others have said, I would definitely keep it light throttle and under 3k RPMs with only 93 octane until you have some gauges and logs. For all you know it isn't even tuned, and just waiting to explode. I can't imagine someone would get the car tuned but not have any sort of gauges.. AFR and Boost at a minimum. Oil pressure, EGT, IAT, and a few others would be nice as well.

If possible, I would take it immediately to a shop for a tune.

Well for now you def don't want to push the car hard until you know if thing have been securely & safely put together. Safety for you & the car are always #1 car repair/medical bills are super expensive. So as everyone has been saying you need a baseline of how the car is presently before you push it. Def check all the fluids, esp oil. Listen for any weird noises or weird feedback from the car both at low to moderate speeds.

After its been checked out by a knowledgable mechanic I would (based on you mentioning "drag") is look into tires #1. This, even on stock will you give you the best bang for your buck. Stock tires are for drifting, 215's are too thin for real racing. And just remember the only thing connecting your car to the road are those 4 patches of tire... Tires are a big deal! The compound, the size, the tire pressure. If your making power & wheels are spinning, doesn't matter if u have 200hp or 1000hp ur not going anywhere. More than likely you'll have to get wheels with decent width to fit bigger tires. Wheels can get pricey & for performance you also want to consider weight. This is the 1st recommendation I would make. But first make sure ur car is good enough condition to be pushed & not blow up :-P

Ecutech/guages, tune and safety first. After that is is whatever direction you want to go via suspension, brakes, wheels, looks, interior ect. I wouldn't make any decisions until you got some serious time behind the wheel of this platform.

Personally I'd go for anything to help the life of the motor. An upgraded rediator core (if it wasn't done already) and oil cooler might be a safe bet to help everything stay cool and happy.
