Installed my bar the other day, which I purchased about a year ago lol.

Issues I ran into was the bushings were way too tall which ended up making us cross thread the bolts when we tried to attach the bushings back to the bracket. Ended up having to shave down the bushing height quite a bit and run a tap through the bracket and bolts to clean up the threads.

Also had a buddy round off the corners of each end for additional clearance as a precaution.

Much easier to remove the mounting brackets to the chassis than try to put the swaybar brackets back on with larger bushings.

We actually did remove the bracket from the car, but still had the same issue.

You have to flip the bushings around when they don't fit. I had the exact same problem and nearly cross threaded both sides. Flipped them around and it went together perfectly. They aren't exactly symmetrical apparently.

Should the slit be forward in car or rearward in car? Mine went together but it was a bear.

I dont remember, I just know that both ways work, but the one way really really sucks and the other way is nice and easy.

I think if you already got it together, it is good.

I think it is the OPPOSITE of the way the stock slit goes, now that I think about it. Because I tried to match stock...nearly stripped out both sides...and then realized maybe it was a mold flaw and tried the other way. Bam, worked great.

Mine were way to big as well. Nothing a bit of trimming couldn't fix.

I guess I'm pulling the sway bar this weekend. I didn't strip any bolts, but I had a rigid sway bar after installation. Couldn't budge the thing, and it resulted in a ton of push. Since then I just shimmed the brackets with washers, but I'd rather flip the bushings and have it work. At least it isn't a hard job. More time to take off the undertray than the sway bar.

I think I'm going to have to do the same thing. The biggest pain is definitely the under tray and undoing the endlinks. Everything else is a snap.

@Sam Strano Which way is the proper direction for the slit to face?

I installed mine last summer (with great results) but I have no idea if I have them in there the right way.

I should add that the change in balance of the car was spot on IMO.

I just tried flipping the bushings and it was a major fail. I couldn't even get it bolted together with the bushings flipped. Oh well, it's a good time to freshen the grease.

The stock bushings have a slit forward, so that's how installed mine. I also tried them the other way just for kicks and it seemed the same.

Also bought the collars mentioned on page 11. Rotating the bar around, the collars didn't make any contact with the bushing brackets
