Could you guys comment on the fitment of aftermarket intakes/inlets with the power blocks? In particular for those of us with aluminum intake inlets (Supertek, HKS, etc). It'd be nice to not have to re-route too much other stuff to install the Power Blocks.

People with full time FI always like to poke fun. The results speak for themselves. The cost is on par for the performance. Once you add e85 and OFT you actually have a very high performance to dollar ratio.

225hp for $2100(minimum investment with e85). Best part of it is the peak tq of 180-200 at 2500 to 5000 though

You could, but you're way better off waiting for the turbo version.

the thermal expansion of polycarbonate is higher than metals, yes, but so minute you will never notice a difference. Also hydrocarbons would have a field day on an amorphous material such as polycarbonate which could lead to crazing. idk about you but i dont want any chance of a material failure near my intake runners.

all the black plastic you see under the hood tends to be variations of nylon. if you need strength, fill it with glass. but using an amorphous material in an engine bay is asking for trouble. there is a reason why the oems use the resins they do.

I look at it as less than $3000 shipped for 250whp which is what a $4500 supercharge kit gets you. With that you get new headers, dual dumps, a tune.

Cant wait to see the results. Im very interested in what it is going to do in a boosted application because the boost creates efficiency as well, my thoughts are that the blocks might not do much under pressure....i would love to be wrong though.

Calm down sir.. no need for bigot name calling and getting angry easily. I was just being harsh on them (if we, as consumers, weren't harsh on all these new damn parts...then the market would be even more saturated with crap parts, as if it wasn't already).

I've read it and seen it a couple times ..but, it's funny how this even needs to be explained in detail (with Bold text, multiple paragraphs, a relatively long post and basic calculations) in that post in the first place. Just my 2 cents and being completely honest.

They could've just used a more standard/popular type of dyno and stated whp in the first place, instead of "over-hyping" and exaggerating it, by the way it was put out there and marketed (ie: "23 piece (lol), 19hp, etc."). It's kinda like saying "my new fancy, polished, bling CAI makes 30hp" just to make money.

It does seem a little sleazy, like they're hoping people won't notice the dyno they used.
It reminds me of car dealer ads that have a great figure as the "Final Cost!" but if you read the ad carefully you see that somehow they don't include the 10% down as part of your cost.

I was def being a d*ck. I know Crawford is a very good and reputable company focused on real performance parts that work; and, not just some no-name newcomer brand trying to jump on the bandwagon to try to make a quick buck or hustle the non-informed/ill-educated. I was being too hard on them...I understand it is most likely very difficult to make a decent profit and do their best to stay in business in this type of market/business (a niche, specialized, small market..such as the performance automotive field for hobbyists/professionals/racers). So, I apologize for making such audacious and quick-to-assume type of judgements and sh*t talking on them and their product.
