Yea so does n STi. i've rolled a brand new sti off the show room for 40k before instead of a Caymen. Your point? also turbo TS>Caymen esp if there was oem.
I'm picking up 15 WRX Limited loaded at 32K, but I will not defend econobox interior in WRX/STI. Yes, it has AWD, space, value proposition for a performance car, but if I can afford a Cayman, I would pick it over STI. I sat in both 2014 WRX/STI for a few hours while test driving it against BRZ Limited. It has the most uncomfortable seat I ever sit in. Interior material is nowhere close the one in Honda Civic. Do yourself a favor, test drive a Cayman S.

Seats have never been a strong point of Subaru in my opinion. The reason they are good in the BRZ/FR-S is because Toyota Boshoku made them.

From reviews, I think the seat in WRX/STI is much improved. They probably learned a lot from Toyota when developed 86 together. New 2.0L FA DIT in WRX has also more peak torque than 2.5L EJ in 15 STI.

Yeah, it does at least look better than their others. But I think they should just use Recaros in their WRX and STI.

Hmm interesting, I thought my 2004 Impreza RS's seats were rather comfortable. There are only 2 seats in the automotive world I simply couldn't tolerate. Any Chrysler Sebring from model year 2007-2010, these are the worst seats in the entire world and give me pain in 2 minutes...it doesn't help the car's garbage too. The next worse are my sister's 2002 Civic coupe seats...I can tolerate 15 minutes in these, afterwards its a world of pain for my back.

My uncle owns a cayman S. I've road raced with him before. I thought we were talking cayman? Cayman S are like 66k off showroom.

I bought n STi for AWD and boost. Where I live we have MT Hood. I drove F-Sunday to snowboard the whole season in 2011-2012. 70mph with studded snows for days. Traded in the STi for my FRS + Cash and now my wife has a 2014 WRX. I'm not a fan of the 2015 WRX so i oppted out. Sold my dad the 400WHP 400WTQ 02 WRX. I've owned fast cars. At my age a proche isn't realistic. Maybe when i'm 40. Also look at the end of page 5. I wasn't the one comparing to a Cayman.

Cheers.

P.s only thing i hated about my 11 STi was the damn seats. The ass warmers were nice in a -20 blizard though

Also can't do rallyx in a cayman.

Yep the seats were one of the things I hated about my old STI. Felt nice with the alcantara, but the lumbar and lateral support were pretty bad.

All things considered, it's a minor miracle that the seats in the Twins are so good.

Getting it for Free is the wrong choice of words. It would be an Illusion that you got it for free.

Because they're not from Subaru... Sounds like we're lucky that's the case!

Fair enough. I like in WA, and weather is not that bad so I would pick Cayman/Cayman S over STI anyday.

Edit: Racecomp Engineering mentioned that 15 WRX is just better than the 14 in every way. Maybe except for a subjective thing like aesthetics.

You make me rethink about my '15 WRX order. Spill the bean now, my Rex is here on 4/8.
