I'm more of a Halo guy and haven't played COD multiplayer in a loooooong time. Titanfall is fun for me at least.

I stay as a pilot most of the time but the titans are a fun change of pace in the relatively long rounds. Sometimes you can get 2-3 titanfalls if you're killing a lot of things/people. They also have AI and will follow you around if you don't want to pilot it. Sometimes that's more effective since most people target the Titan and you can pick them off from a rooftop somewhere.

The one nice thing is that camping is pretty useless and very difficult, even in Hardpoint (territories) games.

I played the beta on PC and XBOX One. Was not exactly mind blown :\

Yeah it's not like a revolution to the FPS genre, just a solid game with a lot of different ideas all in one place that manages to come together into something fun.

If you're diehard CoD or already bored of CoD then this won't change your life. I don't play much competitive MP so it's been fun for me.

I'm waiting for Destiny to revolutionize the FPS.

I think got more hype than it would have normally since there's so little else to play or talk about in gaming these days.

If it was released a couple of years ago on xbox or ps3 it would have probably died a fairly quiet death.

I really REALLY dont like the Ghost multiplayer. This game just feels different tho, like its really a war and a battle. CoD just felt, idk old? Very bland I guess.

It's fun, fast, and fluid. I'm a long time call of duty fan, and this game plays totally different (even if the engine feels wonderfully familiar). Very different tactics for map control, points of attack and defense, retreat, flow. I very much enjoy it. And I enjoy it more than I ever did COD.

And I'm not interested at all in Halo 5 masquerading around as this "new IP" called Destiny. I didn't like Bungie's other games and this one doesn't look any different.

This I can't really agree with. New IP being backed by EA, with a regrouping of the original minds that put CoD on the map as the dominant force in run'n'gun FPS? I don't think the hype train could get any bigger no matter the year.

Halo, really? I'd have compared it more to Borderlands than Halo since it has RPG elements built in. I'm not a big Halo fan but I'm definitely really looking forward to Destiny.

Me too. I could never get into Halo PVP so much but played 2 and 3 for the campaign. Actually the most fun I had with that was getting into a game and then just ragging on the guy that I killed once with plenty of self-deprecation, that "jeez how bad are you that I was actually able to kill you?"

Could be entirely my own prejudices, as I completely and utterly hate Halo. I don't like the game engine, the play mechanics, and many of the development and gameplay choices made by Bungie. I could go into detail, but it'd all sound nitpicky. Long story short, I hate the way the games play and feel and I'm not expecting Destiny to play or feel any different.
