It really depends on your service adviser. If he/she has been good to you so far and seems sympathetic to the modding community then you'll probably be good in regards to them not giving you crap about mods which do not affect the part you want replaced under warranty.

Pm'd
As for the rest, my crickets are worse now at idle. Just hit 13,000 miles on the car. Between that and the rattle in the trunk deck I am really debating taking it back in. I've no performance mods on the vehicle currently, Still debating selling the AEM intake I have. Only like 2 days worth of regular driving on it. It bothered me pretty bad. |

The rattle in the trunk was fixed by the dealer about 6 months ago and haven't had the problem since. It was covered under warranty. Camelback Toyota fixed it Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I've heard camelback is the place to go. Although Earnhardt replaced our pump and we have an intake tube. They didn't say squat. They just said, if we hear the pump, we'll replace it. And they did.

@Shad0ez Were you over by Fry's Electronics today? Pretty sure I saw your car in the left turn lane on Baseline and Priest. Love those RallyArmor mud flaps!

I think I believe the post where they were talking about the quality of gas affecting crickets (or the extra 10% ethanol). Quiktrip gas by my workplace made my car chirp like no tomorrow. So I filled with Chevron afterwards, and it toned down a lot but there was still some chirping. I'm on my first tank of E85 and it chirps maybe like a few times then goes away. I probably should've filled up each gas station a few more times to try each out, but I was too excited from getting to go E85.
Does anyone else get these kinds of results too? |

We tried the different stations thing between Shell, Chevron, Valero and QuickTrip with no noticeable difference. But the stations we went to are all always busy, and I think it's more a matter of how fresh the gas is instead of which detergents are in it. Go to busy stations. I've always been a diehard Shell guy with Chevron thrown in to get different detergents once in a while. I would avoid Circle K like the plague. My thinking is changed now after doing that experiment.
