Poll: Xbox One or PS4

Well, walked into Best Buy last week... bad idea. As I walked in, they had a dolly of 15-20 PS4s and just put some in the cage that was right in front of the entrance.... Yea, I walked out with one. Picked up Killzone: Shadow Fall and Infamous: Second Son. After about a week of ownership and playing games, it is a good console. Compared to the Xbox One, it has it pros and cons.

If you are in the market right now for a console, I do not think you can go wrong with either one. Right now, you can go to Best Buy and pick up a Titan Fall Xbox One for $450. If you don't want Titanfall, flip it for $50 and you will come out with paying ~$400 for an Xbox One. Not a bad deal. Just makes it a little bit harder to decide which one to pick up, unless one of the consoles has some exclusives that you really want to play.

I'm not entirely sure I agree, there's just not enough to play right now that you can't already get on a console most people already have (360/PS3).

The summer will be another drought until they start rolling out games for the fall/xmas season.

Unless you desperately need to play Tintanfall or Infamous I'd hold off.

I meant as in, if one were to want a next gen console. I do agree with your statement that if one does not have a console at all, it probably would be best to get an XBOX 360 or PlayStation 3.

I, personally, would get a PlayStation 3 at this point (considering I did not have a game console at all) with a PlayStation Plus subscription, just because of the huge library.

The Xbox One fanbois are exactly like the Xbox 360 fanbois, maybe because they are one and the same? /gasp, they try to justify their hasty purchase with "we have more games" and exclusive titles.

Xbox does not have any EXLUSIVE titles. any one with a 300 dollar laptop can play an XBOX game. And the controllers are plug & play to any windows rig. I honestly have no idea why people buy an X-Box. 99.9999999% of gamers have a laptop, why do you buy something you already have?

You all do realize that Xbox One wouldn't even be here if it weren't for Sony.

Drive Club, IMO, will be far superior to Forza solely on peripheral support alone. And GT7 will trump drive club.

What next gen title does Xbox one have? Titanfall and Forza. The only exlusive is Titanfall, for now.

But there is brand loyalty and in the end, it really comes down to what games you want to play.

Sony's blu ray technology is why next Gen systems can create these games, true statement.

As far as the GT7 > Drive Club > Forza statement, granted that was all subjective, but I hardly think that is worthy of labeling me a "Fanboi".

Side note: If anyone picks up an XBOX One, Forza 5 and Dead Rising 3 are pretty cool and fun (exclusives)

For computer... uh, last PC exclusive I played... eh, I can not remember. All I know is Steam sales suck (as in, suck the money out of my wallet as if it was never there)
