I think my car has finally gotten the crickets. Thing is, I can't hear it when driving, only at idle. I can't hear it when my music is playing. It's not very loud with the windows up (windows down it's noticeable, though), either.

Really, wtf is the big deal then?

The big deal is I paid 25 grand for this car. It shouldn't sound like it's gonna fall apart at idle. It should sound like a racecar

Anyone have the FT86 speed factory V1 exhaust? I want to hear it in person or if you have it for sale I will buy it.

Not just about you hearing it, it's all the stares from drivers and anyone in the vicinity wondering where the swarm of crickets are coming from

It's a reason to put on the loudest headers and exhaust that you can. You won't be hearing any crickets if you do.

Most of them won't hear it either. They've got their windows up and their NPR (blech!) playing the latest drivel from on high. It's about as loud as the engine itself is at idle. When the gas is on, it disappears. Then they'll turn their heads at the sound of the engine exhaust as I rev high

(once I get my exhaust mods done).

I have a loud header and exhaust and let me tell you, it's close to unbearable at 80mph. I am definitely looking into making it quieter.

You guys havent heard @Knightsaber crickets then.. You cant cover that up with Metallica..

He gets guys in the drive thru ask, "whats wrong with your car?!"
