I would guess that unless you're some kind of special bad ass driver, that the super downs will be fine on the occasional track day. Just don't go off track - you definitely have less stroke. LOL.
Awesome thanks.

I think I'll go with the rsr supers. Stech are a little lower I think but I seriously think i saw only one negative comment abouy the rsr super downs while for the stechs its pretty balanced between people who liked it and didn't.

Plus if the ride is still as comfy as stock thats awesome.

I personally feel the ride is more comfortable than stock. They're softer at low speeds

This suspension is pretty darn stiff don't fool yourself into thinking its "comfortable" or youll be sorely disappointed.

I find it to be incredibly comfortable at low speeds. The increased stiffness is evident at anything above 45 mph. btw, retorquing the control arm helped with our issue.

The shop discovered that same issue about 2 weeks ago and in the interest of time I asked if theyde fix it when i got my new exhaust installed by them and said absolutely. I ordered the exhaust last night so probably going to be fixed Saturday if it arrives by then. It's been a long 3 months of the rattles I can't freaking wait

Just installed the Swift BRZ springs the weekend before last. So far ride comfort hasn't really changed. The 1" drop looks fantastic, though.

So there are rattles from this spring?

And I understand it will be much stiffer. How could it not be. But for springs being able to lower that much and people can still say it's comfortable as lower speeds that's good enough for me.

I believe the upper strut bolt is loose or something to do with the endlinks. I don't think it has anything to do with the springs.

The springs have a higher spring rate, and the dampener remains unchanged, other than it's riding an inch more into it's stroke pattern. It's probably more into it's "high speed" compression pattern, so is that why the ride feels softer to some?

I don't know how much of the stroke compression/rebound is caused by depth into the stroke pattern, and how much of it is speed related due to shearing of the oil in the shock.

But to me, although the ride is still okay, I would definitely say it feels stiffer than stock (but still tolerable) on a bumpy road. On smooth pavement though, everything is friggin excellent.

On another note, I've read somewhere that the spring rate is still within the rated specifications of the stock dampeners, but I can't confirm it. I mean, it must be, because they're designed the springs around them, right? I'm just wondering how much faster the stock dampeners will wear compared to the stock springs.

I installed my springs about 3000 miles into the life of my car, and right now, I have just about 7000 miles. They still feel pretty good. To all the other guys running similar springs (RSR, Swift, Eibach, etc) What kind of mileage do you have on your stock dampeners, and what experience have you had as they've worn in?

How are the stock dampers holding up?

I noticed that the RS*R and Swift spring rates for the FR-S and BRZ are different. If I want more oversteer, would I be able to get RS*R or Swift FR-S springs for my BRZ?

Chart I made when comparing:
