I'm guessing you had Bosch bixenons on your M3 to start with? Those were actually pretty decent with a clear lens upgrade. The ZKWs, on the other hand...

No lol. Mine was an 02 with halogens. Still night and day compared to friends that had Bosch and the zkw

Took it to the best alignment shop in my area (notice the track prepped z06 and f360 on the shop's lot).

went to my local muffler shop. Got a muffler delete made (copied the Berk) for 150 out the door. Double walled 4 inch tips fit the opening much better. Sounds great. Very quite at idle and in sixth. Good deep rumble when going through the gears. I'm happy with the results.

Isn't it really loud?

All of the track pipe set up I have heard in person was like SUPER loud. haha

So, I just added my JDM exhaust tips over the weekend.

Does this change the tone of the sound at all?

It seems like it's a little different now with them on for some reason. I thought the tips don't change any sound.

Just curious.

Yes, the JDM tips change the sound just a little. I didn't notice until someone else pointed it out right away.

I noticed it when I was entering the freeway this morning. It sounded a little different when shifting at higher RPM.

I just bought the Diode Dynamics mirror covers...because $50 off sale and tax return came in on Friday. Good timing...I am surprised Steam does not have a sale at the same time taxes are repaid.

I just saw that email. Almost tempting to buy another one just to have... TWO! haha I kid. Still, congrats! They're a very nice addition to the car. My second favorite purchase next to my TOM'S clear taillights. Hopefully you don't mind wires or are gonna have a reputable shop install for you.

I don't mind, I am handy enough. The main reason I want them is because of your build. Thinking about plasti-tinting them a bit.

Sweet! I wish more people had them. It really completes the car's look. I need to tighten the wires. Also my driver's side puddle light won't stay connected firmly. I think I kept accidentally kicking it loose. The space in the footwell is so cramped!
