WTB: Wheel lugs

Hi guys,

Can some please tell me where can I buy those racing lugs locally in Toronto?

Any good brands for recommendations?

Thanks.

I'd stay away from Muteki, they chip really easy

I see some Blex lugs selling in kijiji, they are much cheaper than the mentioned stores, are they the same stuff?

I have Works and they have been awesome! Got them from Nextmod! They have a lot of lugs in stock all the time. Just head over there and look through their wall!

How much for a set? More than $200?

I just picked up some rays black lugs, reasonably priced (160) and I've used them before without any problems. I love the kics r40 but they're too soft and end up getting damaged with constant use @ the track.

"I noticed some where made in china" More like 99% of them... doesn't mean they are not reliable

The only 2 issues to me are the chrome paint on those wheel lugs will come off every time when you remove the wheels and the thread inside the lugs will seize. I am thinking whether I should buy those authentic wheel lugs such as Work or Rays.

From what I understand, many people (whom have owned works or rays) say not to bother after they have gone through a few sets. I almost got a second hand set of Works lugs for 70 bucks locally. They were pink from time (common) chipped and he said one had an issue threading on. I would rather pay 50 bucks and replace them just as often as 200 dollar ones.

A vender on here replaced someone's work's with another brand (stating that the company makes both anyway) and the other set was half price. So you are really paying for a name there.

TLR: Get what you believe looks and works best for your application and feel good that you purchased what you want.
