Im almost tempted to drive down for that event this weekend but 8 hours to drift in a parking lot and driving back after the event on sunday would suck even more. Plus i havnt ordered my tires yet.

Here's a video from today's event. Header plus tune made a big difference in the way this car drives.

I'm jealous.. Really jealous.

Now I'm second guessing spending all that money on TEs and just picking up the header, diff, clutch, and getting a tune.

Damn, I can totally tell just that added bit of power makes a huge difference

Have you decided to do any kind of axle correction yet?

Funny you mention that, just noticed some clunking today coming from the back. Haven't looked into it yet but I'm wondering if it's the axles. So no, nothing yet, but I should do that next. Do the pbm risers make the diff noisy? I really don't want that.

And headers plus tune was definitely money well spent. Makes the car way funner to drive. Keep in mind too that im in CO, mile high elevation. I noticed a huge power increase just from elevation when I was in Chicago last year.

From what I've heard, the diff risers will make you hear the diff whine, but the subframe risers wont. I think we can get away with just doing the subframe risers, at least thats what I'm planning to do with DSS 600hp axles. Just waiting on that tax return!

The only downside is the subframe risers alone will only raise up the diff by 5-10mm which isn't that big of a difference. Pair them with the diff risers and you'll raise it up by over 25mm total which is much better.

There's that video in the drifting thread of what it sounds like with the rear seat down. You can definitely hear it. With the rear seat up and maybe some added sound deadening in the trunk, there probably wouldn't be too much of a difference over stock.
