Low spec BRZ is UK bound
in contrast to toyota only offering a high spec (high price) GT-86 for £25k
it looks like we Brits will be able to get a stripped and hopefully cheaper BRZ - always nice top have cheaper options! article: (PH are normally pretty accurate with news) http://www.pistonheads.com/news/defa...?storyId=25251

Good for you guys. Low spec BRZ is one of my favorites. Wish we could get that here.

I wonder what are the chances the USA might get these....one can hope for a limited run. Hopefully not a Porsche mentality where you pay more for less. Then again we have no news of a lower model 86 in the UK only the high end GT. Maybe that's why...I wouldn't put it out of Scion's reach if they decide to have the race model FRS.

Slim to none according to autoblog when they asked about it at the press release. Which is really not very surprising considering how the US car market is, what the car really needs is push button start and digital climate controls. On a more positive note though, the press release also outlined some more specifics to the Everything Taken Care of plan that we're also probably not going to be getting in the US. Subaru ETCo comprises 11 different elements, all designed to make running and owning a new Subaru easier and more beneficial than ever, not to mention the cost benefits with each of the services provided free of charge. Subaru ETCo's comprehensive package includes: - Minor dent and scratch repairs - Alloy wheel repairs - Monthly wash 'n' vac - Annual makeover – full valet - Lost keys replacement - Service collection and delivery - Annual wheel alignment check - First MOT cover (and contribution to repairs) - Accident management service - Insurance excess cover contribution - Winter wheel and tyre storage I wonder how hard it is to change my citizenship. |
