Despite the fact that nothing was noted, I am still waiting as with others to see if there is the tiniest bit of change.

In other news... I should have kept this:

NOTE: I'm only running a front warning flag in that picture in case anyone was wondering. Those aren't my flags in the back.

At least I still have the special edition Luminox watch... *sigh*

The FR-S / BRZ were equally hard to get in the very beginning of production, but I think they have what it takes to succeed for much longer than the FJ. Changing gas prices hit that flying brick pretty hard.

Your car doesn't have heating, ventilation and air conditioning?

looks like a much better vehicle for iowa. did y'all run any shop for FJ cruiser stuff?

PS my fj is still worth nearly 65% of it's original value 5 years ago.

That would be the new 2.0s 260hp engine that I mention earlier

The brz will get the Australian sport package. The ts version will never come to the states. The ts version was more than just aero.

Yeah, and the Toyota dealer my dad spoke with today was adamant how the 2015 model will come with a turbocharged option, "of that, I am sure."

These dealers are just speaking out of their asses, telling customers what they think they want to hear to keep the interest alive. Having dealt with Toyota's TRD F/I system on my previous car and being an engineer, I realistically don't see it happening with the FR-S/BRZ. It just wouldn't be possible to keep the price point in check while following the regulations while getting any reputable gains while still ensuring quality to uphold warranty.

It took Mazda 14 years to offer a turbocharged Miata. Ain't nobody got time to wait that long! Sure it was great, but you could get more power with the aftermarket turbo kits that had been out for over a decade.

This is like the only car forum in which people are shunned for wanting more power.

No. I'm new to this crew =). Purchased most stuff from Metal Tech. Traded it so my wife could have an A6 when we found out she was pregnant. The FR-S and a rear facing car seat are a no go.

PS my FJ was worth about nothing due to all the body damage.
