Thank you DSS for making such an awesome mod for our car. I installed the CF shaft for my AT this past weekend. My butt dyno said the car feels more peppy and was a good compliment to the Perrin Crank Pulley. The most noticeable difference for me was in 6th gear on the interstate going up a slight hill as normally i would either have to down shift to comfortably keep the same speed or step on the accelerator that much harder in 6th. I no longer really need to down shift and now i can go lighter on the accelerator in 6th. I have nothing but great things to say about the CF shaft and fitment even with a 3" exhaust setup.

Just installed mine. So far everything is perfect, no increase in noise and or vibrations (although also installed Nameless FP/DP combo together with the DS which added loudness). The only concern, which mechanics pointed my attention to, is the lack of the protective cup on the carbon driveshaft. I allows dirt, liquid and chemicals from the road to contact the connection point of the DS with the gearbox, which is not good at all. They even recommended to cut the protective cup from the OEM driveshaft and weld it to the DriveshaftShop one. I declined for the time being but now thinking about protective measures for the DS... Let's see how it survives winter.

Long term comments

Guys

Any long term reviews on the AT CF driveshaft? Any problems, noise or vibration increases?

Yep, the mechanics - they said they can do it if I'm not planning to return to the stock DF. They said that without this cup the carbon DF connection will survive 2 winter seasons maximum.

I've had zero issues so far. Come spring I'll be pulling the shaft to inspect it and see how it's held up to winter driving conditions.

Just unbolt the rear of the driveshaft and rotate it 90 degrees and try again. This is common and occurs with the stock driveshaft if its not installed in the same position as it was stock.

I wouldn't write it off just yet, a simple rotation of the shaft should correct his issue.
