I should have had the first one. I sold the car before LJ could take care of me.

I have not heard from him since the week after I sold it to him. He was a local guy in Destin, FL. None of the locals have seen my car either since I sold it to him. I hope it is still running well.

When they leaked we had oil EVERYWHERE. It was even pooling on the bumper beam as it ran down the lines from the sandwich plate.

XRP is considered a step above Earls and Russell. I could have used Earls too, but Earls fittings are not as good as XRP (even the anodizing on Earls fades fast) imho. I am intrigued, do you have the lines still? If I send them in for testing and they have failed I should be able to get some kind of a refund for you.

Would be better than a straight up street tire but not as good as a real drag radial.

I'd step down to a 17" to get more sidewall for better bite but if you're set on an 18" I'd run the 245/40-18 in the soft compound

R888's are a deadly tire. it's hard to find ones in the short sidewall sizes that actually work well.

if youre getting special drag only rims, there are some really light weight 16's that are a lot easier to find rubber for. and cheaper.

I am running R888 in 245/40/17, On a 8 psi speed density tune I can't spin the tires in any gear except first. These things are STICKY. Also did a 1:29.508 at streets of willow with zero upgrades except for the tires. Everything else was stock. They are amazing.
