They're grippy in a straight line, but can't handle heat whatsoever. If you think those are good, try some stickier compounds

I personally wouldn't use the Conti's beyond a daily driver rain tire.

@imperiousrex on Contis btw:

I ran relatively fresh RS3's and the Conti DW's about two weeks apart (similar weather conditions) at BW 13CW and the laptime difference was about 2.5s. Granted the Conti's are on my 18" 57Extremes and my RS3's are on my 17" RPF1's but I'd still say the RS3's are roughly 2 seconds faster at that track with everything else being nearly identical.

Well considering daily rain tire is what they've been up until now it's no surprise I haven't had any issues! Lol, I imagine I'll be picking up sticky tires sooner rather than later

As a side note, Rex looked like he was having a heck of a lot of fun on those conti's

That actually looked like a pretty quick way around that particular bend. Were you able to maintain acceleration out of that turn after sliding like that, Mike?

Just another question about free mods just to be clear. Camber adjustment components are free, but what about camber components that not only increase camber but caster as well? Seems that many camber plates also add at least half a degree of caster. And if those are free, then are bushings that change the geometry of the suspension as well? (Namely front caster and ball joints that correct bumpsteer or other mods that change the dive/squat characteristics of the car)

It'll be addressed if a car shows up with all that.

Alright then. I hope some people show up with the caster mods at Chuck, cause I really want to try them out but don't want to risk adding pts.

So after a test run of doing sessions 1-4 timing at Chuckwalla and trying to hold the awards ceremony in the 5th sessions, we got what we expected... half the podium winners and participants packed up and gone home before the ceremony even happened.

As a result and after some discussion amongst the board, we're going to be reverting back to sessions 1-3 timing only. We have every track on the schedule twice a year for a reason and that's so that everyone has an opportunity to learn the track once and then apply what they learned later in the year.

Setting fast laptimes is a skillset but so is learning how to do them at appointed times.

I was there for the 6th sessions trying to get my mojo back, and at Chuck till 7:30pm... I had no idea the slowest time was worth a podium...
