You think that's brave, I work at a University. Students don't care much about the car mom and dad bought them. I've seen plenty of $40k + cars with massive door dings, fender dents, and paint scrapes.

Granted, I just got into a gated lot, so I'm between cars of owners who care a bit more, even if they don't all park right. But when I'm not parking in my lot, I make sure I'm equidistant from both cars. That and I don't worry as much since I do have a nice ding on the driver door.

If you guys think getting in with just yourself is a challenge, try getting laid in there.

It is. More economical for a niche car manufacturer to purchase one of those, than develop an air bag system.

Not that challenging
Just put the back seats down and you've got all that space in the back

We haven't had to do that since husbands old talon....frs is almost the same minus the hatch, and the talon was pretty spacious with the seats folded down

Maybe one day if we really want to test it out but now the bed is a lot more attractive

The bad thing is that the trunk opening is not that big so its either your feet or head (give or take which one) that sticks out the rear.

What an awesome sentence^

There was a member on the forum who said he would put a small foam mattress in the back and would sleep in the FR-S/BRZ while on roadtrips/camping. He would put his feet in the trunk, and fold down the passenger seat all the way forward and fill the gap between the front and rear seats with some clothes to make it even. The one thing he complained about was the lack of a moon roof to star gaze.

Although, you would probably be fine to just lay flat with gear on either side or one side of you with your pillow/head pretty much between the seats (kinda).
Someone drew a picture.

^ awesome!

getting out: i kinda get into the tuck-n-roll position, lean my weight on my left hand on the rubber hand rest of the bottom door sill, pull me left knee close to my chest to avoid scraping my dirty shoes on the speaker grill, and roll out.

getting in: right foot enters the foot well while right hand grabs the steering wheel. then i slide my body in while supporting my weight on the steering wheel trying not to brush against the seat bolsters to avoid wrecking the seats long-term.
