also if you want more rumble there is always the uncatted version which will definitely have more rumble. then again there is all of the other uncatted headers out there too. But this header has shown to do a good job on the torque dip.

so what works for you

Yeap, absolutely. There is more rumble at low rpm and some rumble when you let off throttle. It definitely does not rumble at all times like the other UELs on the market. The difference in pulsing noises are just too close together in higher rpm for me.

It's the pipe lengths itself, all they did was remove the cat so no it'll probably just get louder. Not too sure until I've heard it.

That depends on what your intent of purpose is. Looks like the OP wanted some performance without having a loud exhaust. I would say it fulfilled it's purpose. I don't get why people are so hung up on what it sounds like. Performance > sound (as long as it's not stupid loud).

I got exactly what I wanted from the header. I wanted to remove the torque dip without unnecessary sound. I like a little rumble but would've gone EL for the right results.

So I can run this header without a tune? I just want a little power gain and finish off my exhaust sound. Don't want to void the warranty with a tune. I have the invidia catback, invidia catless resonated front pipe, and invidia overpipe.

A header is easier to notice than a tune... Just saying.

Tuning is the modern equivalent of adjusting the points and carburetor.

I'm pretty sure it will but I'd wait for Speed factory to respond.

From what I've understood all headers works without a tune, the fact that this one is catted simply means there won't be a check engine caused by the O2 sensor. But a tune is definitely a good idea if you're looking to get optimal gains out of that product.

I have no tune, and it's running just fine. However, I have no way of checking AFR at this time. Would a tune help? Certainly. I had a tune on my previous Civic Si that made it 100% better, and I'll prob get one eventually for the FRS.

No CEL. Runs great. Throttle response is unchanged. I won't get into warranty though...plenty of other threads on that!

You sure about that JDL having more power than the OFH? I remember seeing dynos for both. They bother hover around 190 HP on pump gas and 200 E85. I did see one JDL with like 3 more horses at 203 or something but that person had more mods.
