From initial dynos this looks to be better in the dip.

Price i believe ofh is the lowest. Most power UEL would be the JDL. (more info may change this observation)

They seem to all sound about the same with catless versions being louder.

Hope that helps, I've been following most of the header threads until I bought mine (EL) purely for performance.

I think you're right on that. I havent seen dynos on the speedfactory UEL header w/out cat yet. I would expect decent results.

I've noticed that some catless headers seem to be slightly raspy but might depend on the exhaust as a whole as well. It's so hard to make observations with the vast number of catbacks/overpipes/frontpipes available and all the combos people have.

I can't tell you that my catless header is fine with stock cbe and a catted fp/op....

Definitely got louder but still very tame.

Yeah, it doesn't rumble when you give it beans, kind of defeats the purpose.

I think it is not quite UEL enough, doesn't have the beefy rumble!

If it passes the GF/Wife test, that thing should get an award.

That depends on what your intent of purpose is. Looks like the OP wanted some performance without having a loud exhaust. I would say it fulfilled it's purpose. I don't get why people are so hung up on what it sounds like. Performance > sound (as long as it's not stupid loud).

so rumble = loud?

I beg to differ.

Also, why can't I have both performance and sound?
Having a cat there isn't a compromise?

The rumble with this header seems to really be effected by the rest of the exhaust. With only a catback, it's not too much. But with their full exhaust from their video, there's a great rumble. When I get mine, I'll have a full exhaust and when I get it installed I'll make a video.

Ahh no, still just at low rpm. When they get on it, theres hardly any. It's just the way it is with the design, the pipe length just aren't that different from one side to the other.
