Yes, I do, I also understand that those chinese android units are underpowered, buggy pieces of shit. Not even worth their price, you get what you pay for (or less with chinese crap units).

It's a little over $750 (I paid 850) - but cheaping out on something you use literally every time you get in the car IMO is a waste...That's like cheaping out on tires/wheels

I have zero complaints with my HU, ebrake was easily bypassed (also shown in DIY) and the GPS works pretty damn good...Sound quality + device support over bluetooth or cable is awesome

This is where my thought process is going. I'll probably just wait to see if the 8000NEX really is as good as it looks like it'll be and go for that.

EDIT: that said, I did just pick up some used speakers for a steal.

I'm glad I could steer you in that direction...

Honestly find 1 person who regrets going spending the extra $ on a HU and I'll be surprised...on the contrary you'll find tonnes who wish they hadn't cheaped out
