Thats a fair point, I am assuming that there is an agreement on pricing between the companies, so neither one has an unfair advantage. But I do think that pricing the brz basically the same as the WRX will make it harder to sell to you average american who will say... "what no turbo? no awd? waa?"

Something I've learned from these types of cars; they're not catered for your average American. We all fall into a niche that doesn't quite generate eyebrow-raising figures. I can't remember if it was something I read or a conversation I had from years ago, but the point that came across was that sports cars are THE least profitable and desirable types of vehicles to produce. Dave, I'm sure you can back me up on this with your ITR knowledge.

But it's not. Everything is dealer installed and not packaged from the factory. Scion Pure Pricing is no lower than MSRP and dealer is able to add market adjustment bullcrap.

Phew, I really want a BRZ but if the FR-S was a lot cheaper (like 23,000) it would've been very tempting. At most, the BRZ will be $1700 more than the FR-S (most dealers have been saying $25XXX for a while now), which isn't much at all, especially once you start to negotiate with them.
