So the FR-S is $24,200.. what will the BRZ be?
Apparently Scion has just shared some pricing info.. not supposed to be public for another couple days, but leave it to FT86club to get the dirt before anyone else...
Scion FR-S MSRP $24,200 plus shipping of approx $750.. Total sticker at $24,9xx http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=4328 So, assuming this is true, what does this mean for the Subaru twin? Does the premium manual trans come in exactly $1000 higher? Are we looking at $26k through $29k for the various BRZ trims? We should also hear pricing from Subaru very soon now that Scion has gone public (wel.. are about to go public). |

If it's true, I will probably look where else since BRZ limited, which I want, is 28-29K.

^ Yes, speculation in this thread.. but at least now we have a baseline with something real to work off of.

So you think Subaru charges a $1200 premium? Can they justify that? HID's and NAV are worth $1200 nowadays? That would put the sticker price including destination higher than the WRX.. I'm hoping it's not quite as high as you say. If Subaru's MSRP including destination is over $26k for the premium base model they will (and should) lose a lot of demand. |

Meh I'll play the game since every other forum post is about the same exact thing. 30K OTD for my BRZ Limited is my max. If my dealer can't get that I will look at different cars...

Atleast the BRZ will be negotiable after the initial launch hype. I expect the Premium BRZ to start at 25,395 and the Limited at 27,795

Too much. WRX range for the base is absolutely silly.

The BRZ will, more or less, sit next to the WRX price wise trim for trim. Trim for trim is a bit deceiving in this case due to the weird naming Subaru decided to use for BRZ trims (no base) but fully expect around WRX base for a BRZ premium and WRX premium for a BRZ limited.
