He is talking about cars. The 86 communicates better than most other modern cars. I have a highly modified Z33 and prefer the 86 for almost every scenario.
The Zed Z33/34 is a Grand Touring car. The 86 has more personality imo.

About feedback, I generally agree the FR-S gives you better feedback about what each tire is doing. The one area I slightly disagree (and this surprises me too) is steering feel. I actually think the 350z has better steering feel than the FR-S. With the 350z, every little bump will make the steering wheel tug at you. Whereas in the FR-S, some of that feel is filtered through the steering rack. If the steering feel in the FR-S is good, then the steering feel in the 350z would be very good to great IMO. Of course, the FR-S has a significantly more precise and direct steering response that I love. The nose turns in sharply with steering input and feels millimeter-precise. The 350z is a bit clumsy in that regard. OK I'll stop babbling on. Just some thoughts I've had after owning both cars.

If you want handling and 'feels', get the FRS. Don't pay 28k for it though, obviously.
If you want raw power, get the 370z. But you'd have to get it used and being a 370z, it most likely would be a little beat up, so idkkk. Personally, I wouldn't pick the 370z. Not a fan of the front, lacks backseats, fuel efficiency is bad, it's just not a practical car. Kind of a no brainer to me. If you really want power and can wait, look into the 2015 Mustang. Now that it is coming out with a 2.3T engine along with new suspension + some weight reduction, this is definitely definitely worth a test drive. 300+ hp/300+lb-ft torque on a possibly 3200 lb car? DEFINITELY worth a test drive. |
