I would walk in @ 9:00 AM Monday and tell them you lost your job and need to cancel before that car leaves the other dealer.

Just have them transfer your deposit to a new car. There's more money to be had selling a used car over a new one, but either way they're still selling you a car.

I don't want to screw them over entirely if they've already begun the process of getting the car here, nor do I want to tell them I don't have any income, that'll certainly ruin any chance of getting a brand new veh from the dealer. I'm still wanting to give them the benefit of the doubt when it comes time to negotiate the price in hopes they'll still give me a lower price. At least I can go in there and tell them that for the price they want me to pay, I could go buy a brand 2014 veh for the same price (or close to the same price)....they don't lower it, I walk, probably lose my deposit, but in the end I get a better deal on a new vehicle (hopefully)

If they're smart, they would let you switch and see the bigger picture. Dealers don't just work off of one sale. They thrive off of surveys, referrals, and returning service customers as well. It's all about the repeat business.

So I'll reword what I said...if they don't want to drop the price on the used 2013 FRS, tell them that I would prefer a new 2014 instead because it makes more sense monetary wise for myself, even if it leaves them with having to sell the 2013 to someone else (Im sure they would at some point given the rarity of the vehicle in my area...there are probably 1-2 other FRS owners in my city)

I'll put it bluntly; you're getting ripped off on the price AND the rate, possibly EVEN if the car was BRAND NEW. But in your case, it's USED. Christ.

Get your deposit and walk, or transfer to some other car. No offense but from reading your posts you sound like someone who can get pushed around by the dealers. You gotta take your balls out, slap them across their faces, and let them know you're a man with some strong scented testosterone who has done his research.

The whole point of my post was to get some feedback from everyone here and to garner any additional info I could use to walk into the dealer with so that I could try and negotiate a better rate and price. I may be young but I'm not dumb when it comes to money and when it comes to spending it, and I will not be taken advantage of me given the info I do have, and I am fully preppared to walk if they don't give me what I want.

Why would you pay basically the same for a used car with 12k on it compared to a new a new one, it makes no sense...
The most they can probably do is keep your thousand bucks deposit for backing out, cause you did make them ship it and do all the work involved. Even then i think its still worth walking away from the deal cause you are getting ripped off BAD.
Only put the minimum deposit down ever, usually 500.
But like others said try and get them ti roll your deposit on to a new vehicle, you gotta remember you are getting a years worth of warrentee on a new one too, and it is unmolested by who knows how many joyriders after it got turned in.

Does Ontario use USD or CAD?

Is this price in USD or CAD?

$27.5k ... seems way too high ... especially for used.

Why not cut out the middle man and go buy it from Toronto yourself?

Its CAD; and if the dealership can't give me a good price, then I'm going to take a roadtrip to find a dealer willing to give me a better price

It's not about being a man.
He's really just asking a question, no need to go after his manhood?
