I'm running EL stage 2 b01c tune (1.56 dev file tune) on my oft. Threw a code for o2 #2 (p2096) after a hundred miles or so. Cleared it and hasn't come back. Didn't really notice much difference during those first hundred miles but I wasn't romping on it. Feels quicker now for sure.

Anyone get install instructions??? Specifically should I use the o2 extension peice if I have a tune for it? Which resonator that plug goes to(assuming it's one deleted by using the perrin inlet tube)

Don't need the bung spacer with a tune, but there is no harm I can think of in using it. Yes the Perrin already did the job of the plug. Be sure to unclip the fan connector that is super close to the header and move it down and secure it with supplied zip tie.

I just picked up my coated header and yes, the plug is not necessary if you have the Perrin inlet tube.

Yeah wish I had read this prior to installing....

Also I can't see how anyone installed this without raising the engine an inch or two.
The runners will literally not fit between the crank pulley and the fan housing without lifting the engine.

Also I drove it around a bit and didn't notice much added power. Some from 3.5-5k but after that it was the same or less than the stg1 tune I was running.

Removing the fan connector allowed me to literally slam it into place. I also didn't notice much if any difference till my third drive cycle about 100 miles later. It's noticeable now.

Be sure to move that connector down so it doesn't melt.

So the header comes with a few cam tables to insert in a tune?

Don't think so. I believe they're selling a locked tune, but nothing open.

Not sure... Definitely not 40hp without a tune.

I was running a decent tune with stock parts prior. Now I have a tune designed for some unknown EL header, therefore less optimization for the parts.

No there is no cam settings or even installation instructions.

Yes I moved the clip, so it shouldn't melt. No it didn't just slip in. Maybe if you didn't have the oil dipstick or fan bracket in the way.

Big fail, with all due respect to nameless but after all the hype and price… wild design, i thought the first reviews or impressions would have been way better, oh and the fitment/install doesn't seem to be so straight forward.

I'm pretty sure that was in the dip compared to stock car and that was also torque not HP. The jury is still out on this header. I'm sure it'll be one of the best ones but not by a landslide like people were expecting.
