I'm not sure about this, but couldn't that be due to the inherently peaky nature of the 2ZZ? A supercharger can mitigate that somewhat, but a turbo might exacerbate it (some 2ZZ drivers already liken hitting lift to a turbo kick) |

The simplest way a child can think = A battery can cost as much as 2000lbs CO2 emission to Produce. The same Battery can be Re-charged, and Re-Used to Convert Kinetic Energy (Wasted Energy from Automotive Transportations) Then Release it Back on Demand to Produce Useful Energy. This same Battery will save 2 Million LBS of CO2, if you were to keep wasting energy itself. Simpler Put, If you can Recycle a thing, it is more green for the earth. Simpler Example: If you play Video Games, will you Die 3 times to have 12 Life in exchange ? yeah, I think you do. If you want to argue with that, you better get in a Mental Asylum for some Consultings Of course, everything has it cost. The cost of having Battery = Using up Rare Earth Resources. Battery will be sky rocket in pricing, same as stock. NASA has already has the answer for you. They don't public it now, there is no need yet. But, they can have Robots, Drones, People to Mine those Asteroids, Moon, Mars, for all those Rare Elements |

Rover ? LOL....
Well, my point is that Toyota would rather do Hybrid than to Turbo Charge. Economically stand point, Toyota would not do anything at all. Your best bet is the Stroked, Bored 2.5L. But even so, the engine configuration is no longer 86x86 There, you have it, the upgrades will come, but they all will be cosmetic changes Butt Pads with softer Material, Ankle Pads, Better Speakers and Subwoofer....etc |

I'm inferring on my own that it's a 2016 model due out in 2015.

Doesn't sound like huge changes coming anytime soon. I hope this is the case, as I am just about to take delivery of a Monogram...so excited. Trustworthly source as always, thanks MOTO-P!
