If that doesn't suit you why are all powerful 4 cylinders using DIT technology and Toyota not? Turbos don't fit their statistics. They even chose a supercharger on the Elise 2ZZ (which was fine but more $'s.)
<snip>

I'm not sure about this, but couldn't that be due to the inherently peaky nature of the 2ZZ?
A supercharger can mitigate that somewhat, but a turbo might exacerbate it (some 2ZZ drivers already liken hitting lift to a turbo kick)

That is foolish. You need energy to convert energy. The thing about the battery is that they can Store Energy, and release it on demand.

The simplest way a child can think = A battery can cost as much as 2000lbs CO2 emission to Produce. The same Battery can be Re-charged, and Re-Used to Convert Kinetic Energy (Wasted Energy from Automotive Transportations) Then Release it Back on Demand to Produce Useful Energy. This same Battery will save 2 Million LBS of CO2, if you were to keep wasting energy itself.

Simpler Put, If you can Recycle a thing, it is more green for the earth.

Simpler Example: If you play Video Games, will you Die 3 times to have 12 Life in exchange ? yeah, I think you do.

If you want to argue with that, you better get in a Mental Asylum for some Consultings

Of course, everything has it cost. The cost of having Battery = Using up Rare Earth Resources. Battery will be sky rocket in pricing, same as stock.

NASA has already has the answer for you. They don't public it now, there is no need yet. But, they can have Robots, Drones, People to Mine those Asteroids, Moon, Mars, for all those Rare Elements

Rover ? LOL....

Well, my point is that Toyota would rather do Hybrid than to Turbo Charge.

Economically stand point, Toyota would not do anything at all. Your best bet is the Stroked, Bored 2.5L. But even so, the engine configuration is no longer 86x86

There, you have it, the upgrades will come, but they all will be cosmetic changes

Butt Pads with softer Material, Ankle Pads, Better Speakers and Subwoofer....etc

Some will be handling improvements or retune for a different taste (of which in stock form will not be so usefully different since most of the people here are more akin to more drastic customization) but if things like lengths of lower arms, uppers, links or sub-frame are changed, it will be nice for us to combine new and old to align things to personal tastes more...

Because of the market shifts and restyle needs for refresh, cosmetics will also be addressed. One in particular, which isn't related to USA but in Japan, the front marker lamp being placed really low on the bumper for the 86/FRS makes lowering the car "technically" illegal in home market. While this is not a huge issue for the authorities who tend to not give much attention there, it is more a classification and ruling for many of the grassroots activities there like Gymkhana, where Stock Class regulations need to be street legal. BRZ has a turn signal in the front lamp assembly so they have been fine, while the 86 was an issue, so this might be revised so that the 86 will have new headlights to incorporate and address that.

Some parameter changes that will not add power but for CEL trigger parameter to be wider ranged and not so sensitive. Most of the CEL triggers are caused for stipulations and overly critical Emissions standards of the USA, and triggered by random occurrences that really have nothing to do with operation of the vehicle. So some of these might be addressed.

We've seen 18% fatter drive-shafts on the Subaru BRZ tS editions to improve rigidity of the rear axles, and indirectly also improves shift linkage feel.

To also credit Subaru, the production facilities will get a infusion of better assembly robots to replace a lot of the human labor that's been unusually costly for the BRZ/FRS being so drastically different from the Forester and XV Cross Trek that are built on the same line. So we should expect similar pricing despite the improvements in many areas.

Power upgrade? (I can't tell you but time will tell.

Steering rack bushing will also be updated, for firmer response with track compound tires. (it won't make much of a difference for users of street tires though, since it's pretty fast and responsive already.)

So those are the likely items we might see in the next update.
First off, thank you for posting actual content. The S/N ratio on this forum seems to be lower than most. Those sound like great changes - especially suspension, driveshaft, and steering rack bushing. As for power, I hope your smiley is right.

I'm inferring on my own that it's a 2016 model due out in 2015.
