Thats what i thought.
The codes im getting are P0138 U0073 P2097 P013a They all seem to be related to the o2 sensor, so should be good. |

If you are getting O2 code, you should check your O2 Sensor #2 - Voltage (V) reading in ECUtek, because you might be ground the signal ground incorrectly. I got P0138 and found the brown signal ground cable isnt ground properly to the chassis. The Normal reading should be 1.5-4.5V.
@Sportsguy83 do you find your gauge reading vs your logged reading slightly off? Mine is about 0.7 richer than gauge displayed at idle. Also can you close your fuse box after you use the add a fuse? |

I used for ground the bolt that holds the fuse box in place. I need to take a log of OEM AFR and wideband to compare but looking at them live data seem pretty close. The fuse box has no cover anymore. Whitefrs hates my phone signature

Take a look at my attached log. If you look at max my voltage read is 4.19, while the target of the liftoff cruising should be 4.5 @ AFR 18 on gauge display. So it is 0.31V off. What about yours?

Would there be a way to add wideband data to the CAN bus if the wideband controller could output the signal for CAN Bus? Like this:

This is really cool and I am tempted to go this route when my car gets retuned. Would it be possible to utilize a different input besides secondary 02 sensor? Not sure what else may be available but effectively disconnecting secondary 02 concerns me. My concern isn't based on fact, just an uneasiness messing with factory 02 sensors. I would much rather see all 3 running in parallel.

So i did this as well. For people that are curious, i actually did this under the pass dash at the main ecu harness.. I have no worries cutting and soldering wires, etc... Its not really too hard to get to. What i did was unplug the harness and then cut and solder.
Here is the ECU with the harnesses unplugged. Dont have to do this, but unplugging makes them pretty easy to work with. ![]() Here is the wire for the rear o2, what i did was cut this in half. The wire that feeds back into the harness goes to your wideband sensor output. ![]() The other side of the wire that goes back to the actual factory o2 sensor, i simply extended it slightly and then capped off via heat shrink. This will allow me to wire back to stock without having to pull the harnesses, etc. later if need be. ![]() The wire for the CPC input. I cut this and extended it a bit, so later if i want the flexfuel input or for other uses, i can simply get to this in the kick panel without pulling the harneses, getting under the dash, etc. ![]() The two wires cut and soldered/shrink wrapped. ![]() Hope this helps anyone that wants to keep the wiring inside the car. Great to have this feeding and logging. Amazing how far off the stock is vs the wideband. |
