I posted a number of calibrations I use for map sensors in this thread during this discussion and even talked to Shiv on the phone to attempt to figure out which MAP sensor was coming with the kit. I am trying to help out here and your just trying to make me look like I'm "spinning the truth". I would very much appreciate if you could stop attempting to attack me for attempting to contribute to a thread with on topic information.

If there was any issue with what I was posting on this topic I know for a fact @shiv@vishnu would have stepped in and corrected me, or hell if I was just spinning things around and vendor bashing I would have been banned already for breaking forum rules in a vendor thread. Good hell man.
*Shakes Head* You just don't stop do you? Nelsmar I will respect Shiv asking it to stop and leave it alone but as usual your just going out of your way and everyone else is just seeing it wrong...

(I talked to Robert and Shiv as well, on the phone and through email hints me knowing NO ONE has the kit yet)

Correction less than a half dozen see it wrong. I spoke to Shiv about this quite a bit over the phone. This entire discussion is quite ridiculous. Ask your self what are you contributing to this topic right now? I was contributing MAP sensor information and helping out a current customer of shiv's.

The person in question has bought a supercharger (yes from me) and was wanting to use shiv's shelf map on it. Shiv sent him the map willingly. However the kit Shiv will be selling includes an actual map sensor you need to install. And if the incorrect sensor is installed the car may not even start let alone run correctly. I was just trying to help the new owner of my kit get the parts he needed, nothing more. And on top of that I provided a number of calibrations that other users such as your self can now use in your own tunes! There is nothing wrong with anything going on here at all there was just a discussion in which the owner posted in this thread trying to find out what sensor was being used as I could not get ahold of Shiv over the phone previously. Take a step back and look at my posts on this topic and you will realize that I am actually contributing to this thread.

OFT300 OTS map will be released in .dev file to our OFT300 customers. OFT300 kits start shipping in a week or so. They will not be public release just yet. Partly because they are new. And partly because we really don't want people messing with them at this point. They perform well and are very thoroughly tested so I don't see the purpose in tinkering with it. It tinkering is required, I'd rather a customer start off from scratch as assume the responsibility of tuning. Providing OTS maps for boosted cars is a pretty big risk exposure. So we limit risk by requiring certainly hardware and ensuring that the maps can't be modified.
Thanks for chiming in on this. If this is the direction you are going I appreciate that you going out of the way even more at this point to give Collin a dev file considering all things as well as working with me on finding the MAP sensor for him. I'll have Collin email you about the map sensor I sent him and see if he can work something out with you, if not I'll see if I can work out getting him a new map sensor to use.

I can certainly understand and respect this, but would you be willing to send out .bin files individually ever as a starting point with the understanding that the owner is taking full responsibility?

I recently upgraded my OF manager and today is the first time I've tried to read a data log from the OFT. After I click read data, OF manager gets to 100% and then hangs. I've let it sit for 5 minutes and nothing. I have to force close the program. Anyone else run into this problem? I'll make a new log and try it again.

On OF manager, it says my FW version is 1.22 but on OFT it says FW version is 124. Just an FYI in case that should be matching up.

What version of OF manager are you running? 1.06 or 1.07?

I was on last night and still only saw OFM 1.06 for download. Is there a new version?

Edit: I just checked again and it still shows 1.06.

1.07

edit: made a new log file, about 15 seconds long, and still having OpenFlash manager hang after it reads the log.

this is a deal breaker for me...

For N/A its not an issue IMO. But for F/I I definitely agree. From what I can tell so far, when/if I go F/I I'll be ditching the OFT unfortunately unless much progress is made.

It only takes ~5 min to switch maps though.
