I thought about that as well. I think the other part of the problem is that the current plates do not put the sensor in direct air flow. I am not sure with the location and size of the plate you could get the sensor into airflow.

I was thinking something like this

I don't know the specs or the range. I assume it's for EGT so probably won't work. I also haven't looked into what the ecu needs as an input. I am sure I can find something that will work.

It's too cold here to get excited to work on cars so spring time I'll look a little harder.

The GM IAT sesnor seems to be the industry standard, so I would probably try to get that one to work.

This is why I want to get one in hand. I would think this could easily be fixed with a small change in the design of the plate. And again, in the end if it takes is me going out there and figuring it out myself, I'll do my best. It would just be easier to have an existing part in hand that is having the issues and then trying to solve those problems rather than starting from scratch.

As a Nebraskan, glad we could serve your FRS needs! Haha. Hoping to snag mine in the next couple of months. Great build so far!

Got tired of seeing the header and op/fp sitting on my living room floor so I put those on today. Even untuned you notice a decent bump in power.

Maybe photobucket was down or something. They're working for me right now.

Installed the FBM radiator and fan shroud combo yesterday. Getting close to the supercharger install. Here's everything taken apart.

Installed.

After 2 months of waiting I just receieved an email with tracking number for the rest of my Nameless exhaust. They also made me an intake for my supercharger and a set of lateral bars. I'll post some pics when they get here. It usually took about 2-3 days tops for eveything to get here on my last couple of items from them. Hopefully this shipment will be here by Tuesday. I'm stoked!!

When I received my FBM radiator it didn't have the brackets for the overflow tank. So the guys at FullBlown sent me a set the next day. Their brackets really would work best with an aftermarket intake. The bottom bracket is fine. The top bracket is where I ran into issues. I removed the factory intake, then loosely installed the bracket and overflow tank, then reinstalled the factory intake again loosely, then worked it all into place. I honestly think a redesigned top bracket would make for a cleaner install both with the factory intake or anything else, be it a turbo setup or whatever. Here are some of the issues I see with the bracket as it is right now.

Overflow tank sits at a funky angle.

The hose sits about a 1 1/2" further out than it should.

With the factory intake, the overflow tank and intake have to be pressed together for it to somewhat fit.

And lastly it pinches the overflow hose slightly.

Let me be clear that I'm not trying to bash on this setup by any means. I am still very happy with my purchase and if I had to do it all over again I would still purchase this. I'm only giving my honest opinion. I'm already in the works of making my own top bracket and I'll post a pic of what I come up with.
