huh? a properly ported box will be louder then a sealed box-- and will also be about 150-200% larger then a the sealed version. if that is not what you are experiencing, then the box is an insufficient size to be ported.

and probably some misc zipties, and a few special words to pull everything through the car. otherwise, i think everything is there that you would need-- as i said before, i haven't pulled my car apart yet to install my gear, so i'm not 100% on that.. there might be some small pieces here and there that are still needed that i'm not aware of yet.. and you should plan for it to take at least a full day, maybe 2. realistically, it should be about a half-days worth of work, but plan for problems-- it's your first install, so take your time and do it right, don't force panels-- those are usually the ones with hidden screws (learned that one the hard way!)

Based on personal experience, you're headed down a long road of "what I thought would be enough just isn't cutting it, I need more" in terms of audio. If you're coming to the meet tonight I know that @SirBrass and I both have our audio set up pretty much done other than the two rear speakers behind the front driver and passenger seats. You should come listen to a couple of set ups to determine what would really suit your needs. At the end of the day, it would be more cost efficient to know exactly what you want and get it done the first time rather than buying something and then selling it to buy something else you'd be happier with.

Yeah, I'm almost done, but seperately amping my door/dash components from the coaxials will help out ALOT, as will adding in proper coaxials in the rear. Simple setup change with drastic improvements in the staging.
I'm waiting till after the tax man cometh before doing this, as I expect to be anally examined by the IRS billing agency again this year. That is, not just "no refund", but another shakedown. I HATE tax season. Hate it, hate it, HATE IT. Being at the bottom of the tax bracket when you're only about $30k a year away from the $100k/year tax bracket is worse than making $10k less per year than that, simply b/c of the tax hike Great-leader-who-shall-not-be-named simply loved to impose upon us with help from his vile minions whom I never voted for. *cough*cough* ANYWAYS!!! (you can tell this time of year really just pisses me off on general principle, right?) Due to non-automotive, involuntary financial circumstances, all automodding for me is on hold till after I have been legally mugged again.
