I love how you refuse to answer my questions why you feel the Buddy Club kit is a good choice. I have expressed the reasons I don't feel it is a good choice. Losing my respect little by little. By the way I did a little research to answer my question:

I found out that the Buddyclub calipers are pretty easy to get a hold of and they are relatively cheap. Calipers alone cost me about a little less than a grand. I took the proper measurements and I had a machine shop make me a couple sets of these caliper brackets to mount up to the stock uprights and work with the stock rotors.

The cool thing about the Buddyclub caliper is that they just take the Ford GT40 or Dodge Viper brake pads and it works perfectly (does not overhang the rotor) and you have a ton of Pad compound options to choose from. And of course the best part is when you run through your rotor, its only 20-40 dollars a piece for new stock s2k blanks. Rather than the 300-500 dollar rotor rings you would have to pay depending on the big brake kit.

I've come into this thread late, but I don't think Tut ever suggested he had no clue what he was talking about.

What do we really *know* about the BC kits? I admit I haven't looked into them so that's not an attack, it's an honest question.

That is exactly what I am trying to say. I am trying to find out some info about them, but I can't even find a good webpage that describes the kit for the BRZ/FR-S with details.

I could care less about the weight unless you're over 3300lbs "race" weight.

FWIW, "beefy" doesn't really mean anything. Look at high end race calipers, they are rarely beefy in design and appearance. They are incredibly rigid by design and have as much weight as possible removed from them.

Again, not an attack but that's just not the way to ID a good brake caliper.

I never said that directly, I said it seems like he's treating me that way. There is a huge difference.

The only real problem I have with this thread in the last few pages is someone that should be respected tell me that Brand X (because it really doesn't matter) is crappy because they are "beefy".

That's honestly bullshit. I'm not sure I like how Tut delivered the bullshit either.

I would hope he is never going 120 to 0 because if he is, then he has most likely hit the wall . With that being said, I would guess that Sebring is where he plans to track his car. The only really demanding brake zone is prior to the hairpin/hotel turn where it is quite bumpy and a very tough brake zone to get correct. The turn 17 area is normally split into a couple brake zones with trail braking being best utilized. @Dave-ROR can probably better speak to the brake zones in a BRZ at that track as I have only done it in my SpecE30.
