Wasn't me that put that there. But I have a couple cards to hand out whenever I see the twins and my rule of thumb is if your car is all stock chances are you haven't been on the forum because you can't browse the threads and not mod your car its just not physically possible

That last line made me think of Red vs Blue.

You make me sad.

I want to explain Red vs. Blue, but I don't think it's possible to explain without making it sound really unappealing.

That's not a target, that's Church!

Wait why are there six pedals if there are only four directions?

Changed my oil today. The jack set I got didn't cut it, while the Rhino Ramps worked out great. Didn't even need a block of wood to clear the bumper, or a human foot to keep the ramps in place. Thought the oil filter would be easier to take off than it actually was. Had to make a trip to Autozone for a strap wrench. Then found out the washer I got from the dealer was for Toyota models, not the Subaru crush washer we use. Car was empty of oil at this point, so I used the sister's Malibu to get the right one. The actual work was a damn breeze, easiest oil change I've ever heard of besides the hardware issues. Unless I can't read a dipstick properly, I used more oil than I thought I had to. I have seen just under 5.5 quarts needed as the FT86 club average. But, I did let my car sit for an hour without a drain plug, so that might have helped drain a little extra. I'll report back tomorrow if I see an increase in MPG or a general improvement in feel from the factory oil.

Dumb question, but the car was level when you checked the dipstick, right? How much oil did you end up using?

Checked both at level and raised. Surprised at how low it read level. I'd say 5.5 quarts right now but I will most likely add some tomorrow.

I swear I've seen 5.4 quarts, not litres here on the forums...

(I bought 6 quarts, which should equal about 5.7 litres)

I'm in favor of non-violence myself. And by "non" I mean "extremely", and after "violence", insert the phrase "blood explosion extraordinaire!" Muwahahaha

On phone I am. Therefore, if mistakes I make, Frank Oz blame you should.

Let's talk gas quality quickly...

Where do you consistently get the "best"?

My choices previously were chevron then shell, but am taking another look at things after this last tank from Chevron was total crap.
@nelsmar knows what I'm talking aboot
