The one I went to said the Demo cars and orders start 8th of June and arrives here approx late July/August. As far as pricing goes, I had 37ish for low spec and 43ish high spec. I locked in for auto, high spec in Premium white (Glacier/Metallic white?) might change my mind on the colour when it comes to final ordering.

Sydney city. Demo cars (2) (black manual and white auto i think) were ordered 2-3 weeks ago, which should arrive in june, so preorders should come in july. Well lets hope.
Chipping norton ordered black 86. Manual i think.

Most of the orders at sydney city are Auto high spec. Think there were 10 orders already.

Price is killing all of us. Cant see it being more than a rex. But whos knows. Just sick of waiting.

Its true, the price are crazy. If the price they gave me is what they will agree to, then its a deal. Hopefully they are right about the price.

st162celica is right about chipping norton having a black manual low spec one coming in as I was there over the weekend placing my deposit down for a high spec. They have another low spec one in manual too I think but i cannot remember the color.

I manage to pop down to the subrau dealership as it was only a few mins away and spoke to a lady that worked there and she advise that subby australia is getting in 850ish brz and that it will be priced between the wrx base model and wrx premium model in terms of pricing for the brz full spec.
They already have 9 pre-orders of the brz at that dealership and so it will look like orders will take awhile for the brz as subrau has only allocated 1 per month to each dealership or so I was told by this dealership anyways.

Hopefully thats not the case for the 86 as well

Subaru might not sell much BRZs if Toyota is going to sell them between 40 to 45k. Not sure, just random shot in the dark.

Subaru's WRX like $45-50ish (excluding STi models), right?

if i'm Subaru Aus i'll bring a spec between the GT and GTS spec.

ie. JDM S spec or similar to the JDM 86 GT spec.

if they complete with Toyota Aus head on then price will be the only deciding factor.

Funny that when I was called by my salesman last they still had no confirmation of trim level etc.. and when I placed my pre-order in Dec they reportedly had 30~ orders back then

I don't know who or what to believe and I stopped caring a while ago..

I'll be overseas for the release, so I'll just wait till I come back to see the dealer demo's and I'll make a decision about it then.

LOL! wow! quite a few since i secure my place, i was 3rd. But then again it doesn't matter where you are placed.
