At this point, I think the ESC, OFT and OFH are my plan. I will likely do it in two purchases over the next 3-4 months... which raises the question: Which should I purchase first... ESC or OFT/OFH?

ESC and oft first. You need both in my humble opinion. And soon after that ofh.

From my experience, when I do more than one mod at a time, and something doesn't work right, It's hard to pinpoint the cause. ex: On my 240sx, I swapped out my engine, a used trans, new fidenza aluminum flywheel, new exedy stage 1 clutch kit, and single piece alum drive shaft into a new body, and had got horrible vibrations during any decel.. after installing and removing the original engine twice before(the machine shop screwed me), I was sick of trying to fix stuff and a year later I bought my fr-s
. Anyway long story short, I would say start with the oft and ofh If you are sold on it (still waiting on before after dynos myself). That way you can install header and flash, and make sure everything is working right, no exhaust leaks, or strange engine behavior. Then battery relocation and or esc.

Neither check will be enough to do ESC and OFT, so... I guess it's not much of a choice if I can't run the ESC without a tune. When you say waiting on before/after dynos, I assume you mean with ESC before header and with ESC after header? I'm pretty sure I've seen before/after header dynos without the ESC... haven't I? |

Just to clarify. When you use four batteries for the supercharger you need to locate the starter battery somewhere else. I am using the Odyssey PC925 which is a little bigger than the one you can purchase from atbatt. No room for it under the hood so I located it in the trunk and ran a 4 gauge wire down the center console to the trunk. I also installed a 140 amp fuse close to the battery. I did connect the ground wire to the spare tire tie down bolt (used a shorter bolt). You will need to get a group 27 battery tray for the four supercharger batteries. With the dual battery packs I was able to run a couple of 0-60s at 6.2 and could probably break 6.0 if I tried a few more times. Currently running a Borla header and Perrin over pipe with 92 octane.

I've seen as low as low 6s and as high as 7.5s. Apparently some car magazine/show guys can't shift at all.
Automobile Mag was 7.2. http://www.automobilemag.com/reviews...u_brz_wrap_up/ Jeremy Clarkson said it was 7.5 in one of the videos I saw. I can't imagine he's that bad a driver... Using Torque (not sure how accurate it is), I've gotten 6.7s slightly uphill and 6.5s slightly downhill. However, both times were in 30-40 degree F weather on the stock summer tires. |

Guys just realize the tq 300 is a ways out. And there will be an upgrade path per Fenton. Have faith in the current product. It's incredible.
