My wish is for these kinds of wishing threads to end and for folks to enjoy their cars lol. But seriously seems there are more speculation and wish and thoughts threads all based in Rumours and what's ifs etc...
I like way car is now for the price it is what it is. There are aftermarket solutions for power and luxury for this car an amazing aftermarket actually so waiting I ask "why"?..... Just no need to wait. Once this car had everything people want it'll be 35-40k off lot then people will bitch about price? It's a never ending cycle IMO..

And that's you. I would, because I know that replicating a tS with 50 more horsepower would cost around $15K using aftermarket parts. And the result would have no warranty and no resale value.
So $35-$38K would be just fine for me. Heck, a lot of people on this board have dumped over $10K into mods, so clearly I'm not the only one who sees more potential in this chassis. |

Because not everyone has bought the car. Remember how this board was when people were waiting for the car to come out? Constant wishing, rumors, and speculation. Well some of us are still in that situation, except that we have been waiting for a refresh. If you don't like it, you don't have to read the thread. That's the beauty of the internet.

Again with this stuff?
Sigh. That being said, I think the only big changes we might see for GT86 2.0 would be a facelift.

Just enjoy what we have. You keep holding out for the "better" model you will never buy the car because it will always get better. |

Consider, if you can, that this may not be about people trying to feel "special". I don't give a crap if I have one that is better than you. And if you feel inferior about it, that's your problem. Like many people, I drove the car and felt it was missing things I want, and there is nothing on the market yet that fits my needs, so I am not buying yet. That's simple. I was living in another country for the first year it was sold, and we have two other cars, so I don't need to rush. When the revision comes out, I will look at it, and if it still doesn't work for me, I will buy something else. Also very simple. So how about *you* go enjoy your car instead of berating me about what I should do? |

It is *so* simple. You don't have to READ the thread! That little mouse you have? You can actually *not* click on things. It's like magic!
There are a million threads on here that I am not interested in. I cannot imagine why I would go on there and say, "I'm not interested in this subject. Everyone should stop talking about it!" Wait, I have an idea. How about people who are not interested in the thread don't read it, and don't complain about it? It's really a novel approach, I know, but it just might work. 300BHP and around 200FT-LB should be fine for this car. I'm really starting to build a picture of what I want to do to this car beyond the OFT, OFH, LSD, bushings, Modify 1st and 2nd gears, adjustable struts and a few others. Its that or a two door Genesis Hyundai.

Wishful thinking but they should just kill of the Scion brand, bring the new 'FRS' as a GT86 in NA with a power boost.
No changes to exterior please. This car looks fucking great. |
