Another quick update -

SuperTek intake pipe/filter installed. Much cleaner and hopefully will add a bit more power.
Also.. finally received my engine cover from Japan after 2.5 months wait.
20whp gain at least.

Milltek resonated catback should be here either tomorrow or Wednesday. At that point the only piece I'm waiting on is my new header from JDL and she'll be back on the road. I want to get a few more miles on her before Moto-East gets involved and a full fluid change.

More to come soon!

Car is looking good, I love the bronze wheel/stud/lug color combo on the blue. Starting to the think just about anything looks good on bronze RPF1's haha

what did you use to plug the opening in the airbox after you took off the resonator? or did you just leave it open?

I used a delrin plug from Genome Tuning. Looks factory!

Update

I missed my car and my patience wore out so I installed the stock header/frontpipe/overpipe so I can at least drive my car and get some miles on her. The Milltek exhaust is crazy quiet! Almost like stock.. but with a bit more growl and lower tone. Should sound great with a full exhaust setup.

More to come soon!

The header finally arrived!
Completed the install this afternoon.. sounds amazing!
Not loud and ridiculous like the equal length/Tomei setup.

MotoEast should have me all tuned up in the next couple weeks!

More to come!

Thanks so much!
We're actually going to try and get video today.
It really does sound amazing though. Smooth and quiet during cruise/light throttle.. loud but "serious" when the pedal is down.

I also can't say enough good things about Moto-East! Mike has gone above and beyond to help me every step of the way and the car runs incredibly because of him.
I know everyone says "get a tune.. night and day.. blah blah" but holy shit are they right!
It's a whole new car now.. ten fold. We're only on the first log correction so there may still be more in there. We're going to get a few more logs sent his way today while we're out getting video.
Also doing a full Motul fluid exchange today. Engine, tranny and diff. since I finally have enough miles on everything to do so haha.

I'll keep you all posted!

That's something everyone should do in my opinion. Between bushings and the springs.. shifting is perfect.
So perfect in fact I had a short shifter sitting on my bench ready to install and I sent it back.

Awesome! That is the type of exhaust I am looking for. Nice and quiet until I get above 4k rpm or so. The Miltek looks awesome too. I love the cut of the tips. Where did you buy yours? I've had issue finding a seller. Also, is the front pipe resonated and catted or just resonated? I want at least one cat in the system since I plan on a catless UEL JDL
