* double park at back of lot away from everyone else - less likely to get dinged, more likely to be thought of as a dbag, more likely to get keyed.
* double park at first available opportunity - less likely to get dinged, will definitely be thought of as a dbag, much more likely to get keyed.

What about:
*Park away from crowd but not double parked. - less likely to get dinged, most normal people won't consider you a dbag, less likely to get messed with since you're within the parking lines.

Some people need to learn what double parking really is. Taking two spots is not illegal or considered double parking.

Change your quote to "...but there's nothing you can do to stop someone from messing with your vehicle...so you're gonna have to deal with it."

This whole discussion is basically about people messing with other people's vehicles for reasons such as parking away from the crowd, double parking, or both. No one is arguing that no one should ever park next to them. lol. Let me say that again for you. The topic in discussion is about having someone target your vehicle and do intentional damage to it because they think you deserve it based on your parking habits. The thread is NOT about being upset that someone parked next to you.
Make sense? I hope so.

P.S. Are you still doubtful?

You mean those posts about door dings from someone parking next to you are irrelevant? Pretty sure I never said or implied people get upset merely by someone parking next to them.

Exactly.

People who double park think that they are entitled when in reality they are just fucking assholes. I've never damaged a car before for this but have parked my beaters inches from both sides as a fuck you.

Yes.
Deal with it.
Please read the thread before posting further. I mentioned the door dings in response to someone else. That's what happens in a discussion. Some irrelevant things are mentioned but then the discussion gets back on topic. You have missed the topic completely. You should start a new thread titled, "People will park next to you, deal with it."

Who are you? The damn thread police?
You're the only one allowed to make posts slightly off the main point?

And besides, my original post was in reference to your and oldpueblos posts which he mentioned "your car is going to get hit anyway". You picked out the "parking next to" bit and kept running with it.
I don't need your permission to post in threads, thanks.
