It'll be the exact same way that every other Toyota produced overseas does.

Got my deposit down yesterday. Wasn't going to do it due to money constraints but the love of the 86 got the better of me, so I'm going to have to deal with it. Lol

Dark grey manual high spec. Sales guy is pretty sure 39-40k on road low spec and 42-43k on road high spec.

Saw the Toyota dealer catalogue. Dealer demo orders in feb. 1or 2 per dealer. Production date June. Now now sure if that meant it will be built then or delivered close to June ?

But the good thing was march per-orders had the same month of June as the dealer order.

Order April then turns to July , order may then turns out to aug . Etc.

So question is June production date or delivery date. Sure its production date. Based on the catalogue, projected production schedules. I got a feeling the price should be coming out in the next few weeks, possibly by the end of march !!!!!

Was told The 86 should be delivered in July with the demo unit coming in June. June 8th for sure !!!!

I ordered mine last Wednesday. The salesman told me that they are getting 2 per month (possibly more) and said that mine would arrive July/August. I suppose it depends on which dealership you ordered from.

2 per month per dealership isn't likely. They would have bought them out as a Lexus and charged a lot more if they were going to be sold in quantities that low.

Man Subaru aren't on the ball at all compared to Toyota... I rang a dealer yesterday, told me they had no details, maybe in September they would know something!!! Meanwhile you guys are getting orders in!!!!

I'm a massive Subaru fan so it will always be a BRZ for me but any normal person will just buy an 86 rather than wait for these clowns to sort themselves out!

I think both Toyota and Subaru are waiting for the other to release info then undercut the price by a few hundreds....!!

Toyota is calling the shots, hence the production figures. Sure there is agreements in place since Toyota funded the project.

39k on road low spec manual
42k on road high spec manual

44-45k on road high spec manual Brz

Wished Toyota did this project themselves instead of a shared project. Seems that suburu is taking most of the credit when Toyota has had the final say throughout the project.

I found out that Toyota rejected the design of the motor due to poor fuel mileage, don't ever remember seeing that on the forum though. Can't wait to tap into that area. Sure there is ways. Who cares about fuel mileage when lost horses are at stake !

It was a joint project, they should have released equal numbers for both cars. How can you make 1 car more expensive when it's the same car.

No way in hell it's only a 3k difference between base and high. Expect it to be 6-10k.

Not from what I have been hearing from sources at toyota corp. I was hoping for 5k difference. But when I hear 3k from a few people, didn't sound too bad.

Either way, deposit down, rip me off Toyota, take my money. Give me my keys, cya

i dont know where you guys are getting $42-$45k on road.. all dealers and dealer principals and friends inside toyota are saying ~$43k on road base, ~$52k GT spec on road.

if its over 50k im pulling out..

if its mid 40s im still in.

i cant warrant spending 50-52k for an 'economy' sports car.. it should be priced cheaper than what the s15 was back in the day.

43k on road for the base is far too much for what is essentially a baby WRX.

Which Dealership did you go to?

The one I went to said the Demo cars and orders start 8th of June and arrives here approx late July/August. As far as pricing goes, I had 37ish for low spec and 43ish high spec. I locked in for auto, high spec in Premium white (Glacier/Metallic white?) might change my mind on the colour when it comes to final ordering.
