35 in my opinion and past experiences is just to thin of a tire. I would go 40/45

I just put a set of 18x8 RPF1 on my car and went with 225/40-18. They're the perfect size IMO.

Thinking along the same lines. I am looking at lowering springs right now - trying to decide on something decent that will drop me 1.5 in the front and 1.ish in the back that will not scrub on a 245/35 setup

I was orignally shooting for the Enkei RPF1 18x8/35's but.. for the price I think the Fujins were to good to pass up and give a somewhat similar look.

Long term - i.e. post pay-off, I'll be moving to something more aggressive as I'll be running a FI solution (leaning SC) and should have enough for nicer wheels, coilovers and BBK's...

stock suspension for now. If/when I upgrade, I'm going with @Racecomp Engineering yellows.

Drop it a bit and put a little anodized color red/blue in the middle. Nice.

I went 225/40/18 on my TSP6 (see the tsp6 thread). Looks good to me IMO. I am incredibly thankful especially considering how many potholes are around after this past winter.

The neighbor has 35's on his lexus and bent his wheel twice just in the past two months.

I think I've got it narrowed down...

Eibach Sportlines

And a inexpensive set of Hankook V12 245/35/18's

This should complete the "frugal" package I've put together and fit without issue I believe... on the 18x8 Fujin... comments?

(Now just need to save some more... or sell something /hmm

)

Looks good. Only reason why i went with continental extreme dw's was they were on sale. People rave about those tires.

I could not pass up that deal either. Just got them on last week. I went with 225/40/18. Not sure why they reccomend 235/35/18.

They are still on sale right now... hard to beat that price.

I'm about to purchase the tires and springs... decided to go ahead and bite the bullet and do it. I am rethinking the Ebachi Sportlines, thinking I may just go with the Ebachi Pro Kit.

Also torn on the choice of 245/35 vs 225/40...
