No but if anyone from Tucson is they can grab it and take it up.

I also might be coming up this weekend if I sell the Vette, I got a serious cash offer last night but were still talking I want more than he offered but it was a respectable offer. If I sell it I have to buy something else.... I am already itching to Supercharger the FRS but I can't turn it into my only toy or else it will get out of control.

I gotta tell ya, my car is pretty built and is still a very nice daily. I have the Innovate supercharger with intercooler and 69mm pulley, KW V3s, 18's, Baer big brakes, etc etc and my wife can jump in a drive it any time without me worrying one bit. This car really likes to be modded!

So I am at it again, I got a nice offer on the Vette that I may take but that lead me to ask what should I replace it with. I had a few idea's but the top of my list included a GT40, Ford GT and a C7. None of those are in my budget right now so I decided it was best to sell the Vette and the FB RX7 v8 Turbo Swap and do something fun in the mean time.

This lead to me remembering the FD RX7 I had a few years ago and how I wanted to do an LSx Swap... I also knew right where my old FD was and the new owner had been working towards to same goal. We spoke and came up with a deal, this weekend my old FD comes back and the FB leaves with him. As for the Vette, I will keep entertaining offers and just hold the FD Project where it is until it does.

Here are a few pictures of its current progress, it will be good to finally finish a project I have always wanted to do and had to walk away from years ago during my divorce.

Hmm I really do think I am going to pick up a Vortech or Innovate Kit here shortly. I am talking to Vishnu about the OFT300 kit but since I will be running E85 that means tuning will be on me (which I am fine with).

I think FI is in my future with the FRS, how soon just depends.

God I love FDs, such a timeless design that still looks great twenty years later. Check out Holley for LS swap parts, they have some good stuff like cast manifolds, motor mounts etc. Also check Chase Bays for a swap harness if you want to save some work.

I have an 89 FC Turbo II (Still a rotary but built) here at the homestead. It's my brothers but he lives at my house so it's one of the many cars here. Between the two of us we have a fleet of cars and motorcycles haha. I love the Turbo IIs and the 3rd Gens. His entire exterior is completely restored and now he is working on the interior. Can't go wrong with the RX7s.

Which LS you gonna put in it you think?

I keep going back and forth. It comes with an LS1 to rebuild but that means I cannot use LS3 heads as I would want to. However its free so... I could just do a 383 Stroker with a set of 243/LS6 style heads and maybe port them...
But I really like the idea of an LS2 with LS3 heads. However then I have to find a Cable Driven Throttle Body for the LS3 Manifold....

The other option is pull the 408 Stroker out of my Vette.... again but this time to put the original 5.7L back in my Corvette and then keep my Stroker for the RX7 but I really want to do an Aluminium block in the FD.

I am batting around idea's. As time goes on I will come to a decision... hopefully.

Sounds like you have the same conflict as me with one of my LS swaps. I want an LS3 bad but I know a guy who has an LS1 with only 15k on it that comes with literally everything including trans, gas tank, you name it. Was all pulled out of an SS rear end total. Just not sure if I want some of the limitations that come with the LS1 such as swapping heads as you mentioned. So basically I sit in limbo or waiting to come up on a deal I just can't pass up on an LS.
