so is anyone here also a part of the Flat4Society group on facebook? i was invited by a friend not too long ago, but i feel hella shy to participate in group conversation cause they all drive cars with subie badges on the outside (wrx and sti's mostly) and mine are all hidden on the inside(fr-s). so its like i dont really feel like i belong. but i want to so bad

Doughboy. Welcome. This is a great group and great to have you as a part. You can always start with smaller easier and cheaper mods. I did led cabin and trunk lights, hid headlamps, FRS badge in center console, tint, opti-coat, and a subwoofer.

Almost every day I see a black FRS stock with Toyota emblems on Fredericksburg when I leave USAA... anyone on here?

What exactly is a Twisted Sister run?? My FRS is currently at the dealership getting a new rack and pinion. If she is fixed in time I should be able to go.

It's an amazing drive through Texas hill country, 3-4 hour drive roughly with lots of twisties! I highly recommend the drive.

Agree with Turkish^... I'd like to go, but I can't committ to anything right now....

But, is San Antonio's Cars & Coffee (Coffee & Rides, whatever) this Saturday morning? I've been stacked at work & can't keep up with anything anymore. If so, I am about 85% sure I can make it...

Bumpin' this up...a Reminder - Twisted Sisters Run a couple of weeks away...March 29th!

We'll meet up @ 9AM in Medina, Texas at "The Apple Store" and leave there as a group for Leakey, Texas @ about 9:30. We'll do a brief stop in Leakey (last chance for restroom and gas) and then drive a loop on RR 336, Hwy 41, 335, Hwy 55 and then 337 to the Bent Rim Grill back in Leakey for lunch.

Route on Google Maps: http://goo.gl/maps/RBCGN

Bring FRS/GMRS radios to communicate if ya got um. Typically, we'll stop a couple of times for photo ops along the way.

Faster drivers to the front - slower to the rear. Newbys are welcomed.

Add your name to the list on the San Antonio meetup thread!

Hi all. I'm in the SATX 86 group on FB but figured I'd post here. Just picked up an FR-S this week and pretty excited to be back in a fun-to-drive car. It's my first MT, so I'll see how ready I am for the cruise this month :p

I've had my DGM BRZ LTD for a week now. It was a long wait but it paid off.

Welcome to the "86 Family" so to speak! I had to wait 8 months from the time I knew I wanted to buy a BRZ to the time I actually located one available to buy without a "market adjustment" mark-up by a dealer!!!...and, had to go to South Carolina to do so!!! Delayed gratification sucks...bet, you both are enjoying your new cars. Not many DGM BRZs around and have never seen a monogram FR-S in person. Ya'll have unique 86s for sure!!!
