When you park at a 24 hour walmart at 2 o'clock in the morning way way way way out of the way next to the doors that are locked and take 5 minutes walking into walmart because you keep looking back and staring at your car because it looks amazing under flood lights. Go inside pick up a Tuner car mag because it's talking about all the differences the different intake systems give the FR-S spend 32 minutes reading the article and taking down phone numbers, forget why you came to walmart in the first place. Leave because you can't remember why you came. Get to the parking lot to find a old ranger and a soul/cube (the nissan shoe box) parked surrounding your car. Get pissed and remembered why you came in the first place. Go back in get juice while spying a girl with a great ass and body walking through walmart with her friend. Pay for your juice and start walking outside only to find the fine girl and her friend are the ones who parked around your car

When you see other people in hot hatches, Audi TTs and the likes and think "you bought the wrong car, mate." Then you see their faces and realise that they just realised this.

Case in point: I was at a traffic light the other day, minding my own business when I notice two TT's - one behind me, one to my right.
"you bought the wrong car", I think. The light turns green, I casually drive, and notice that the TTs are standing there, looking at me pulling away, missing the fact that the light turned green.
It of course helps that the waiting list here is 10 months, and there are MAYBE 5 86's in the country.

Huh... I think I might experiment with that. I know all the WRX/STi drivers wave to each other in my area, and of course motorcyclists. Once I start driving mine, I'll start waving at all other sports cars just to see. People in my area are so negative/competitive most of the time. Maybe I could help lighten the mood.

I have owned two supras and one C5 and consider the BRZ to be the little brother to the C5, and the replacement for the Supra.

Admitted, the supra comparison only applies to the handling and the potential for upgrades.

However the 89 supra (non-turbo) was kind of gutless and really heavy so not a fair comparison.
The BRZ would just barely fail a 0-60 while out handling it on the twisties.

Really? The C5? I'd consider it the infant sibling to the supra BECAUSE of the handling and the potential for upgrades. An extra 100hp (via turbo) and I think the FR-S might be able to handle a stock supra.

I still want a supra though.

When every time you see a slick looking 2SS CAMARO and think "Yeah, I'm saving on fuel now, but it SO WASN'T WORTH IT" all teary eyed. It's cool though, I'll just dump $10,000 into the this $31,000 car and get the same power plus slightly better handling. Oh, but then I need to spend another $10,000 to get all the features of a 2SS. But that would add weight and it wouldn't be such an "amazing" handling car. Maybe I'ok just get another Chevy. Truth is, the Camaro would smoke my 10 series in a straight line or on a curvy road. This is not a real sports car. It's an exercise in futility.
