The more I look at pictures of this car the more I like the stock front end. I don't think I really like the TRD body kit that much anymore. If I have to I will install the Hide The Plate kit.

LUCKY! I pre-ordered on Jan 11th and my ETA is end of march at the earliest. Most likely pegged for early April. I have a feeling my dealership dragged their feet.

Wow so you ordered around the same time, 2 days before me, but the cars all pass through AB to get to us in ON and QC. Wonder why you aren't getting your car sooner?

Mine has been at port in BC since last Monday. I got VIN over two weeks ago while it was enroute on the ship from the land of the rising sun

I placed my order in mid Feb. Original ETA to the dealership was March 2. This morning they're saying March 7 so we'll see what happens. I do also have a VIN already.

Excited but not in too much of a hurry to get it due to the weather we've been getting here...

I'm probably in the same boat as you, I still haven't got a VIN despite ordering so early.

I wouldn't let a dealer do it. I would shop around and find a pro with a lot of good references. If there are any scratches, swirls or water spots on the paint they will be trapped there as long as the PPF is on there. The paint needs to be polished to perfection before the PPF is installed or you will be sorry you ever did it.

Yes I am, though they are getting a local shop to do it with their own film. The dealer admitted the OEM one doesn't cover as much area and is slightly lower quality material. Taking their word for it they have had excellent service so far

Do you know when it arrived at port? Mine was supposed to have arrived yesterday, dealer said 7-10 days until they get it. Just wondering how long it stays at the port, not sure what all has to happen there, like customs or inspections or whatever.
