So if I understand what you said... It'll work but only to a certain airflow limit. Meaning only to a lesser power level than oft or ecutek would allow?

With the ESC operating at full power boost will decrease as engine RPMs increase. My plan is to limit the amount of boost ESC provides until reaching a given RPM where as it will turn on fully. There are other methods for dealing with without limiting boost. Clamping the output voltage of the MAP sensor (example 3 above). Or installing a MAP sensor that can operate at higher pressures (2 or 3 Bar) and then using your tuning system (software or Unichip) to adjust to the different MAP output voltages. So there are really three different approaches all of which can be achieved by Unichip: 1. Limit boost 2. Trick the ECU so it doesn't see a fault at higher boost pressures 3. Upgrade the MAP sensor and adjust the tuning maps to compensate for the difference.

It sounds to me like it is either limit power or trick the ecu. Sounds dangerous, but I have no clue
. Best of luck and I'm keen to see the resultsEdit: it doesn't sound easy, safe, or capable of full power delivery. The OFT is all three.

There are no perfect solutions for this. I personally think that limiting the power at lower RPM's is the most sensible solution. If you were really looking to get every single horsepower out of this engine you'd probably be looking at something other then an electric supercharger. It's like forced induction light. It gives you a small temporary boost, with little to know footprint once removed.
